Description This 2-day First Aid Response Re-certification course is intended for those who wish to maintain their PHECC FAR certification. This course will equip participants with knowledge and practical skills to give effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries and illness and care and maintain comfort of a patient until the arrival of emergency medical services. Who is the course intended for? This course is intended for anyone who wish to keep their PHECC FAR Certification up to date. All attendees must be over the age of 18 at the start of the training. Duration: 2 Days. Training methodology: This course is a classroom based and instructor led highly interactive programme utilising a range of training methods: presentation, small group interactions, demonstrations and practical hands-on AED training. Assessment: 30 minutes Multiple Choice Questions Exam (20 questions); the pass mark is 60% & practical skills assessment Accreditation/Certification: On successful completion of this course participants will receive a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Responder Certificate which is valid for 2 years.
