Globe has a wide range of flap discs. Thanks to the fibreglass backing, the work is not contaminated as is the case with nylon-backed discs. The special aluminium zirconium compounds are suitable for deburring and finishing all types of steel (including alloys). Globe discs are tested to European standards and regulations with the highest possible safety standard at the forefront (EN13743). The quality of the materials is of a high standard. They wear evenly and will deliver good results over their entire lifespan. The structure of the slats is available in HT (narrow) arrangement and in traditional arrangement with wide slats. The blades are placed with great care so that the disc is perfectly round, vibration-free and does not overheat, for optimum working comfort. For special applications, the flap discs are available in a smaller diameter backing, while the fins are longer to provide more softness and elasticity. The metal bushing in the eye of the disc provides more resistance on the clamping nut and more safety.
